Thanks so much for your comment, Paul. : ) Even though we are not ‘off the grid’ at this time (burdened down by lot rent and–you guessed it–bills), we are researching land prices in another state besides Texas.
I am ready to Homestead self-sufficiently (solar, wind, etc.) and travel a lot of the time in our van. I feel very Blessed that we have our caravan and our old faithful van.
It’s funny too–our toddler calls Peniki (our van)…’home’; pointing to it and saying, “Come on Mommy…come on Daddy, let’s go home”. How’s that for what kids really ‘need’ in this life. : )
